RDP Sunday — SPOON

Today’s Prompt is SPOON

Have you been spooning in the light of the silvery moon, starting your Christmas baking, or ladling out warm broth for supper? Something warm is called for in our corner of the world as our sunshine heads south for the winter.

You’re all welcome to serve up some memories or impressions in a blog post, then do a pingback or copy-paste your link in the comments box, tagging your post with “RDP” and “Ragtag Daily Prompt”. And I hope you’ll take a moment to check out what other bloggers are dishing up in their response to the prompt, and leave them an encouraging nod.

We’re looking forward to seeing how the prompt word impresses you. 🙂

  1. Iced Coffee

    (True story)

    I’m sitting in this cafe
    Iced coffee by my front
But Don it must be by your side
In front, is where I want

Now Don you’re changing grammar round
    Messing with our minds
Our neurons cannot cope with this
    Things gotta all get rhymed

    (Carry on….)

I have this glass of iced coffee
    In front (I’m sitting by)
    With straw and matching-level spoon
    (Both protruding high)

    I take a quick nice straw-like sip
Then back to write this verse
So lost in thought I put my lips
    Around the spoon. And curse
