RDP Sunday: memorial

Very happy Sunday and my Ragtag Daily Prompt word is memorial.

Yesterday we held a memorial for a dear friend. She was a college friend of my parents and has known me since I was born. I went to the University of Wisconsin, Madison and got to know the whole family. Now I know her grandchildren too, over the last ten years.
