RDP Wednesday: mohawk

Very happy Wednesday and the Ragtag Daily Prompt word is mohawk.

This is a female Hooded Merganser. Mergansers have some of the best mohawks going! I took this yesterday near my house, on a cold morning walk in the sun. There were mallards and coots and a great blue heron who looked like she was very tired of winter.
