RDP Tuesday: solstice

Joyous Tuesday and the word is solstice.

Hooray for the solstice, the sun will now return! Or really, the northern hemisphere will now enter the phase of being closer to the sun and having spring and summer. The southern hemisphere will enter fall and winter. And at the equator the day stays the same length. How very very peculiar that must be.
