Oh thank you! I’m honored. 😀 Coincidentally, I’m reading the novelization of The Mummy. I love your take on the prompt.

You mean The Mummy from the movie with Arnold Vosloo, Rachel Weisz and Brandon Fraser?

Yes, I’m reading the novelization of the original screenplay.

I asked because … well, when we saw The Mummy we lived in Saudi Arabia (no movie theaters in Saudi, so we could only go when we were in a different country and I wasn’t up to date with new releases). We went to the cinema with our sons (about 9 and 10 at the time). I fell almost out of my seat when I saw the mummy himself (Arnold Vosloo) because I knew him way back in South Africa. Long story short: Back in Saudi my sons couldn’t wait to tell their friends: “My mummy knows the mummy!!!” 😂

That’s so cool that you knew Arnold Vosloo. He did such a great job in both the movies! Even without much dialogues, he aced his performance with his sheer presence.
