RDP Tuesday: watched

Very happy Ragtag Daily Prompt Tuesday: the word is watched.

Are you the watcher or the watched? Do you observe or hold the stage? I am a bird watcher. I watch people in clinic very carefully. I am looking for signals, what the person is not saying. The areas of silence, of withdrawal, what they do NOT talk about. What they don’t want to talk about.

I bird watch and every so often, the bird watches me. They look right at me. Who are you, they say, and who are you to take photographs of me and disturb my privacy?
