What shall I write about? Saturday?
Sixth day of the week and no work
Tomorrow is Sunday (also no work)
And Monday’s no different (no work)
I’m retired…..
Ah, the life of a retired writer…..

Ah well, the writer always has work on hand, retired or not!

I always wanted to be a writer, even when I was little. I’ve always written, throughout my life. But I admit now that I am not the writer of the family. This honour goes to somebody else: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/12/12/the-successor-of-kater-murr/

Hi Punam, I came here through Sadje’s post. I haven’t started making resolutions yet, but I love being back in the blogging community and finding my niche. I’d like to invite you to two events on my blog. The first one is to participate in an interview for a series on blog challenges and their hosts. The second is a new challenge I was invited to host called Writer’s Quotes Wednesdays. https://tchistorygal.net/writers-quotes-wednesday-writers-challenge/

Hi Marsha! Good to see you here. Though I would love to participate in the challenge and the interview, these days I am quite pressed for time. The Ragtag Community comprises of many talented bloggers and each day a different person posts the prompt. You could ask anyone of the others. Thank you for asking me though…I am honoured.

That’s amazing that you all got together and started the Ragtag Community. Super idea. I look forward to learning more about all of you and your prompt.

Well, it so happened that WordPress used to give a Daily Prompt till a few years ago and then stopped it abruptly. To keep providing prompts to the blogging community, Fandango and many others came forward. Fandango gives a prompt daily, there is Word of the day challenge which has three members and the Ragtag Community. There are others too giving daily prompts and some who give weekly prompts. I joined Ragtag last year. We are around 9 members if I am not wrong. I give prompts on Saturday and each day of the week is assigned to a different person. If one of us forgets or is unable to post, other members kindly fill in.

That is so cool. WP used to do a photo challenge, too. Both of their challenges were quite popular. The Lens-Artists took over that challenge and there are four of them plus guest hosts. They do one a week. This is their interview. https://tchistorygal.net/2020/08/14/how-four-strangers-from-around-the-world-coordinate-a-popular-weekly-photo-challenge/ I think you’d enjoy it. 🙂
