Happy Tuesday! The prompt for today is Motif. 

The word ‘motif’ has always meant a visual pattern for me. I was admiring some really pretty motifs today. Then it occurred to me that other than visuals, it is also used many other ways! What does motif mean to you?

a distinctive and recurring form, shape, figure, etc., in a design, as in a painting or on wallpaper.
a dominant idea or feature.
