I was very tempted to show off a beautiful (or not) body for this prompt as Germans have adopted the word “body” in their language and insist on pronouncing it “buddy”. I shudder every time I hear it – be it the notorious “buddy bag” (spelled “body bag” and no, they don’t mean a cover for a corpse at a crime scene but a bum bag / fanny pack) or when they wax lyrical about “beautiful buddies” at a gym. A look in my garden convinced me to stay with the more conventional interpretation.
