RDP Sunday — LUSCIOUS

“Every person is able to add beauty, whether by growing flowers, or singing, or cooking luscious meals, or raising sweet pets. Every part of life can be art.”  — Cynthia Rylant

Our word prompt for today is LUSCIOUS and I think this delicious looking strawberry illustrates it very well. Interestingly enough, the word LUSCIOUS and the word DELICIOUS derive from the Latin verb delicere, meaning “to entice by charm or attraction.” Two points for you if you use both words in your post. 🙂

Compose a post and share your interpretation of today’s word in prose, poetry, or pictures. Use “Ragtag Daily Prompt” and “RDP” as tags, plus whatever other tags apply to your post, like Fiction, Story, Poem, Photo, etc. Specific tags make your posts easier for fellow bloggers to find in the Reader.

Pingback your posts to this page or copy-paste your links in the comment thread here. And while you’re around, browse through the other posts bloggers have worked on. We look forward to seeing how you interpret LUSCIOUS.
