RDP Sunday — MEMORY LANE

In Charles Dickens’ much-loved story, A Christmas Carol, the heartless old miser Ebenezer Scrooge receives visits on Christmas Eve by three different spirits. The Ghost of Christmas Past takes him down memory lane to recall happier times and hopes for the future that he once had, before the pursuit of riches consumed his life.

MEMORY LANE will be our prompt for today. Is this a place you love to wander down, recalling happy times with family and friends, or do you feel it’s best to avoid looking back? Maybe you’d like to show us a scene from your own Memory Lane?

Post a poem or story, fiction or non-fiction, or a photo about Memory Lane. Once you’ve posted your response on your blog, be sure to leave the pingback, or the link, in the comments below. To learn how to create a pingback, see our ABOUT page.

So other readers can find your response, please tag your post with Ragtag Daily Prompt and RDP. (Depending on what you write, you may also use tags like Blogging, Poetry, Poems, Photos, Stories, Memoir and/or Fiction.) Once you’ve pasted your permalink here, take a few minutes to follow the links and read how thoughts of Memory Lane have inspired other bloggers.
