English is a constantly evolving and vibrant language, borrowing freely from other languages. Did you know that “Cushy” which means relaxed or easy, actually stems from the Hindi word “Khushi” which means happiness!
The prompt for today, 2nd Nov 2019 is “Cushy”! Whatever it may mean to you, please share your thoughts through poems, pictures, fiction, non-fiction, recipe or whatever is your mode of expression.
Use “Ragtag Daily Prompt” , “RDP” , and “Cushy” as tags. If you are sharing a picture, add “photo”. You can pingback your post or leave a link in the comment box. While you are at it, please show some love to fellow bloggers.
Have fun.
Punam
I didn’t know that is where the word came from; makes perfects sense though! To be cushy is often to be happy!

It is amazing how many words English has borrowed from other languages. The best part is the meaning remains close to the original word.
