RDP Wednesday – WANDERLUST

I’ve been studying German lately, and while the language and culture take me around the country, I thought of setting the day’s prompt with a word of German origin.

Our word for today is “wanderlust”. Originating from the German words wandern (hike) and lust (desire), the coming together of the two words denotes an enjoyment of roaming about or wandering. In modern times, the word is more commonly used to mean “desire to travel”.

What does “wanderlust” mean to you? Compose an article or share photographs – you can interpret the prompt in words or pictures. You know the rules. Use “ragtag daily prompt” , “RDP” , and “wanderlust” as tags. Add “photo” if you’re sharing a picture, as specific tags make your posts more accessible to other bloggers. Pingback your posts to this page or copy-paste your links in the comment thread here. And while you’re around, browse through what fellow bloggers have come up with using the day’s prompt.

Feel free to read, write, click, share. We love to hear and see it all!
