Monday Prompt: Coddiwomple

Happy Monday!

You will notice that there is a  number missing. We have decided to forgo our numbering system, so the prompts will come to you as the day of the week, just an added bonus if you are one of those people who lose track of the days! But, don’t be surprised if the occasional number does show up as we transition!

Today’s prompt was suggested by Carole Carlisle of the blog Light Words.

Coddiwomple is an old English slang word. It means “to travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination.”  A little of what I am feeling as the end of summer vacation has arrived and I return to work this week. (sigh)

Let’s see what you all can do with this! The challenge is on!
