For those who like to rhyme, some possibilities at Rhyming Dictionary. And no, you don’t have to rhyme. I do haiku so I’m not rhyming.
a feline ,most often used for the domesticated variety but can refer to wild ones.
historical : short for cat-o’-nine-tails
historical : (particularly among jazz enthusiasts) a person, especially a man.
short for catamaran
Nautical: raise (an anchor) from the surface of the water to the cathead.

While staying here Pinkie and Midnight started getting physically closer before the hissing and snarling. Pinkie climbed upon the cat tree here and would nap on the top one. She would snarl any time Midnight came too close to the cat tree. Except this one time. Midnight was looking at himself in the mirror and Pinkie couldn’t figure it out. “Who was he looking at? There is no one there.” You can see her staring down at him and being perplexed enough not to hiss. Curiousity, apparently, trumps territory issues.
