The day appears to be a tad busy, so decided to pop in and post the prompt a bit earlier than usual. Here’s my on-the-spur-of-the-moment word selection. Our prompt for today is “extempore”.
What comes to your mind when you hear the word and the ways it can be used? Compose a poem or song, make up a story or narrate an incident, or if you don’t want to put too much thought into it, just make something up and have fun.
For those who actively participated in the Weekly Photo Challenge on Wednesdays, click a picture of your interpretation of the prompt.
To those participating in the daily prompt, use “ragtag daily prompt”, “RDP”, and “extempore” as tags so your posts are easily accessible to fellow bloggers. For those contributing photos, use “photo challenge” in addition to the other three prompts.
Pingback your posts to this page or copy-paste your links in the comment thread here. Browse through what your fellow bloggers have come up with using the day’s prompt – in case you need any additional prompting, or just to have a look at the myriad ways the prompt can be interpreted.
Happy reading, writing, photographing, sharing. We love to hear and see it all!

The word Extempore made me think of someone who could make a speech off the cuff. So here is my little tale. 🙂
