Today’s word is a summery one. ‘Dappled‘. It’s sunlight and shade in mottled patches on a woodland path. It’s farm animals in meadows: piebald ponies; Friesian cows. It’s my daughter’s dog Brian romping in a muddy pond – though his spots are a little assertive to be called dappled. And it’s tinted reflections from the stained glass windows on the floor of a church. Or maybe something else. Show us. Tell us.

I have written a haiku inspired by the lovely word Dappled.

I do love that word as it conjures up many an adventure in the woods. 🙂
